Last October the Oberlandesgericht in Vienna delivered a verdict upholding the verdict of the Landesgericht Wiener Neustadt which rejected the lawsuit for payment of more than 680.000 EUR, directed against the Law Firm’s client.

The trial concerned damages claims deriving from alleged undue performance of the delivery of furniture to Austrian buyer, and has been conducted with participation of Law Firm’s lawyers, including attorney-at-law Małgorzata Majkowska, and of lawyers from associated Law Firm in Vienna, including attorney-at-law Dr. Peter Klein.

On the basis of the verdict of the Higher Court in Vienna, Land Court in Wiener Neustadt adjudicated to the client return of the high costs of the procedure (more than 30.000 EUR).

Meanwhile, the opponent’s assets are located also in Poland. As a consequence, the collection of the procedure costs can be executed in Austria or in Poland, on the basis of the verdict passed by the court in Austria.
