Unfair competition - slotting fees

 

"Slotting fees" are an act of unfair competition because they make it more difficult for other businesses to again access to the market, by charging fees, other than a commercial mark-up, to accept goods for sale.

The common practice of concealing slotting fees as supposed "discounts" or "bonuses" does not validate such charges.
