Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

please find below the report on the second edition of the conference regarding the investment opportunities in the construction sector in Poland and Hungary held i.a. by the Law Firm of Mikulski & Partners on 18th October this year in Barcelona.

Among the co-organizers of the conference there were: the Polish Embassy in Madrid, the Hungarian Embassy in Madrid, the Mayor of Cracow, Foment del Treball Nacional in Barcelona in cooperation with Balazs & Hollo Law Firm from Budapest and Dr. Astrid Dorfmeister - Legal, Tax & Commercial Consulting from Barcelona, both associated in East Legal Team - European Economic Interest Grouping.

The Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw was a patron of the conference.

During the seminar the lecturers brought up issues concerning the investment opportunities that Poland and Hungary offer foreign investors, including investors from Spain. Also the legal aspects of carrying out construction projects in Poland and Hungary were presented to the audience.

Our Law Firm was represented at the conference by advocates Isaac Oliver Richart from Valencia and Ksawery Garapich from Cracow. Mr. Garapich gave a lecture in Spanish about the legal environment of carrying out construction projects in Poland.

The occasion for the event was the close of the Hungarian Presidency of the EU and the beginning of the Polish Presidency.
